My story

In January 2020, my husband and I relocated to Bonsall from the Seattle area with our three dogs – Aloha (Pitbull/Shar Pei mix), Radar (Cane Corso), & Hula (Terrier mix). I have been a professional dog trainer since 2010 and started my own training business upon relocating to Bonsall.

Aloha Positive Dog Training specializes in working with clients and their dogs by utilizing positive reinforcement based training and teamwork to meet training goals. I teach behaviors that promote a well-mannered, well-behaved dog that also takes into consideration the dog’s emotional welfare while learning and beyond.

Aloha Positive Dog Training offers in-home personalized Private Lessons and Day Training. I specialize in puppy training (proper socialization, potty training, puppy biting and foundation skills), newly adopted rescue dogs, shy & fearful dogs, basic manners, reactivity, and cooperative care (improves confidence, comfort and calm during vet visits and grooming).
